About the Conference

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 24th Czech–Polish–Slovak Optical Conference, which will be held from 14–18 September 2026 in the Krkonoše Mountains, in Pec pod Sněžkou, Czech Republic, and is organized by VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava.

This year, the conference will be co-organized with the workshop Czech–Polish Photonics 2026 (16–17 September ), providing an opportunity to strengthen ties between academia and industry associated through the Czech Optical Cluster and the Polish Photonics Technology Platform.

The events feature invited oral presentations, contributed presentations in both oral and poster sessions, and industrial exhibitions. Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts on the following topics.

Venue & Location

The conference will be held at Hotel Horizont**** in the mountain village of Pec pod Sněžkou. Alongside the conference program, the hotel provides a wide range of facilities for sports and relaxation, including a gym, squash courts, a wellness area, and a swimming pool.

The Krkonoše Mountains form one of the four national parks in the Czech Republic, and the hotel is situated close to the country's highest peak, Sněžka (1,602 m). The summit is accessible by cable car or on foot and is planned as a conference excursion.
